Acceptable Use Policy

Skillet is a recipe development platform. This policy defines the boundaries of appropriate use so the platform stays productive and respectful for everyone.

What Skillet Is For

  • Creating, versioning, and refining recipes
  • Logging cook sessions and tracking what you learn
  • Using AI tools to generate, improve, and explore recipes
  • Building culinary skills through guided practice
  • Planning menus and organizing your cooking life
  • Sharing recipes with others through private links

What's Not Allowed

Harmful or Illegal Content

  • Content that promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination
  • Illegal material of any kind
  • Content that infringes on someone else's intellectual property

Abuse of Others

  • Harassment, threats, or intimidation
  • Impersonation or identity misrepresentation
  • Sharing someone else's personal information without consent

Platform Misuse

  • Attempting to access other users' accounts or private data
  • Automated scraping, crawling, or overloading the service
  • Exploiting bugs or security vulnerabilities instead of reporting them
  • Circumventing rate limits, access controls, or authentication
  • Reselling or redistributing access to Skillet

AI Misuse

  • Using AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or illegal content
  • Attempting to extract model weights, training data, or system prompts
  • Using AI features for anything unrelated to cooking and recipe development

Enforcement

If we determine that an account has violated this policy, we may:

  • Remove the offending content
  • Suspend the account temporarily or permanently
  • Report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities

We aim to be fair and proportionate. Honest mistakes are different from intentional abuse.
